Google For Educators has great resources for classroom use.
You and your students can benefit from using Google tools in the classroom. More importantly your students will be prepared for functioning effectively in the internet dominated world of the 21st century.
Google has a teacher's guide for using Google in the Google For Educators section.
Teachers can get ideas for using Google tools in the classroom, they can join discussion groups and sign up for Google newsletter.
Google has also started a blog for educators called Infinite Thinking Machine Blog.
Google says, "While you’re here, you can sign up for the quarterly Google for Educators newsletter, as well as check out the latest from The Infinite Thinking Machine, a Google-sponsored, WestEd-produced blog for educators, by educators. We also invite you to visit the Google for Educators Discussion Group to catch up on what's happening with Google's K-12 Education initiatives, and to share information, ideas and lesson plans with other educators".
You can download posters for your classroom here - http://www.google.com/educators/posters.html
The posters are in PDF format. You need Adobe Acrobat to download the posters. If you do not have it on your computer, you can download a free Acrobat Reader here.
So sign up for Google for Educators' Newsletter and get ideas to use in your classroom. Discuss them in Educators Groups and share your lesson plans.
